The Holly Bush Emerging Woman Painter Prize 2019

From May to August 2019, emerging women painters were invited to submit their artworks for this incredible competition.
The prize aimed to support, encourage and mentor women in art.
Only 21 artists will be chosen from this competition to exhibit at Burgh House, Hampstead, London.
My entry is this colourful oil on canvas using fingerprint technique, titled “Birds of Feathers”.
The paint represents the Brazilian woman in the Carnaval. Beyond that, it represents the modern woman that over centuries conquer their space, proving they won their mind and body.
